About Alisha
I’m Alisha — baker, mom, former lawyer and special education teacher, and the hands behind Alisha Bakes. My love for baking started early, in the kitchen with my mom (still lovingly known as “cookie mom”), where I first learned the joy of sharing homemade treats. Over the years, baking became my creative outlet, my science experiment, and my love language — a way to connect with people and brighten their day.
After careers in law and teaching, I decided to turn my lifelong passion into something more. I believe there’s nothing quite like the joy of receiving a thoughtfully made cookie, and it’s my mission to bring that magic to your doorstep, one small-batch treat at a time.
I live in North Arlington with my husband and two sons, and I’m always testing new recipes, perfecting old favorites, and dreaming up the next sweet drop.
Alisha's cookies are nothing but delicious. The weekly cookie drops are always a fun surprise and mix of cookie types. My family is always excited about them. I have also used Alisha for catering and the cookies were perfect and completely gone at the end of the event.

What started as an obsession waiting to see what treats Alisha would bring to a neighborhood gathering has turned into a monthly delivery that is the highlight of the week! We dive in immediately to see what awaits. Impossible to pick a favorite, but the Nutella brownies, M&M cookies, and coconut macaroons top our list. Having a variety of delicious, homemade desserts is a luxury that we all adore.

The day Alisha’s cookies arrive is always our favorite day of the month! Her cookies and brownies are delicious and artfully decorated and arranged. We’ve ordered them for school and neighborhood parties and they’re always a big hit and the first to disappear!!

My family looks forward to our cookies every month! My kids are especially in love with them. My daughter brings them to school to share with friends. When my son started college this year, the only care package he wanted was these cookies. I love supporting a local business, and having both the comfort of a tried-and-true recipe along with something new and different to try each time.
